MORNING SPIN

i used to battle with my downstairs neighbors in my college days. we were in a big old house hastily partitioned into separate apartments by a thin layer of drywall.  they`d blare `interstellar overdrive` through the house pretty much every morning, and i`d respond by cranking up `jesus christ superstar` and running up and down the stairs.  it`s a good memory.

i hadn`t given this a proper turn since the nineties; i mean i`d listened to a side or two over the years, but this time i let the whole album play in sequence.  i don`t think it could ever be as good as fifteen years ago sitting in my old grandpa swivel rocker at my desk, a chair from goodwill that came with mice living in it, and hearing good-bye blue sky for the very first time.
