i had the best thrifting weekend… i got a few sweaters from a recycle shop at 50%off, some for unravelling into skeins for knitting, some for wearing. though not exactly as shown, i did get a tiny handmade toy and some driftwood from a free box. finally, i scored the un-used burt`s bees at a recycle shop for 400 yen and the unused wooden stamp for 50 yen. two distinct pistons were firing; the part of me that loves recycling, and the part of me that loves a good bargain. i`ve been thrifting since jr. high school, and it still gives me such a wicked rush. score!
