i love nature, and i always cheer a silent `hurrah` when i see it slowly reclaiming its own spaces from the human domain. slow power is very cool. i stuck in the last photo because i love to see all the green and especially pine creeping into the frame. all these photos were taken in a recent jaunt around rural nara prefecture. being a `citiot` once again, as i walk around the concrete and asphalt blocks i`ve been pining (pun intended) to get out to the wild and hike for some spiritual refreshment. it`s nice to have rivers and mountain views in the city for little sips here and there, but a good mountain hike immersed 360 degrees in fresh, damp air and the smell of rotting pine needles is just what my soul needs.
