flashback

nothing like the memory of a calm eastern canadian beach to start the day,  even the excited little puppy we brought home this weekend is taking a nap!  i will sneak out to a temple in the city this morning.  bitter matcha, sweet mochi, staring into a vacant garden with little signs of spring.  then back to spend time with my puppy-girl, who looks like a little grey mouse.  i gave her a handmade toy snake made from handwoven organic cotton, to my delight she seems to love it.
