IMPROVISE


i`ve mentioned before that i had to leave my warping board back in canada and so have been warping up on chair legs since we moved back to japan…. here`s another piece of equipment you can live without - a reed sleying stand.  lol!  my first loom was cardboard and a ruler, next i bought a sakiori loom, and then the saori loom.  improvising is great.  i also don`t use a cross holder, i always use my hands.  i`ve long compared weaving to playing the piano, and i read yesterday somewhere saori weaving compared to jazz.  it`s a great analogy.  here`s what turned out;
