real time, listening this morning. mary j blige brings back memories of living in downtown toronto 13 years ago and the excitement and trepidation of trying to figure out life in the big smoke all on my own. i didn`t have a tv and i listened to sublime every morning early before going to work to get pumped up for the long commute. i also recall going out to poetry slams after work, lots of espresso, the blackout, walking around the city by myself (i mean epic treks!) and too much else far to random to recount sans continued rambling.
