simple is better

i saw this photo of the footprints on the beach and i thought, that is us - the traces will wash away.  some photos of before - we moved back to japan a little over a year ago - in canada our bed we made from a few rough pine boards, our very simple renovations to the cabin, and our very simple woodstove, and in japan at our inlaws the simplest, oldest, futon on the floor covered in a towel..  it`s a good reminder of how much better simple is, especially when everything comes and goes, just like us!
