one year ago i was living in an a-frame cabin, on a mountain, on a 15 acre woodlot and two small fields. there was a river running through my backdoor, and a mountain lake behind that. we had an ocean view. today i am living in the middle of kyoto city in japan in a highrise. we had a crazy couple of years after quitting our day jobs and moving abroad, and i hope i can start to slowly tell my story on this blog.
