i have no trouble getting through one mitten...
but it usually ends there. i have lots of `one mitten`s lying around. i never seem to have this problem with socks. this is a famous pattern in newfoundland, where i`m from. some people call them `honeycomb mitts`, or `newfie mitts`. my grandmother, who is the original speed-demon clacking needles champion knitter, swears that this pattern is the warmest. and believe me it gets pretty cold out in the north atlantic. my glass of water nearly iced over one day while i was visiting her, in july. `one mitt` wouldn`t fly there, my ducky.
