saltine crust!? whipped cream "meringue"…..condensed milk! this `bill smith`s atlantic beach pie` from food52 (my new daily internet hangout) looks too good to be true. i`ll be trying it soon. in truth i went right out to the grocery store to buy the ingredients, but on the walk down i passed a 100¥ cake shop that looked too good to pass up. it was run by a little old lady and there were strawberries and whipped cream on display. there was a freakin upright piano behind the counter, practically in the middle of the street! so i bought lemony flavored cheesecake for desert tonight. next time it will be this though. it will be this.
