WEAVING // BITS

i wove this bolt of fabric earlier this year while in canada from a couple of recycled cones of cotton and textured yarn.  since i was lucky enough to find the yarns at a thrift shop chain the whole bolt cost about 2$.  normally it costs a WHOLE lot more, especially here in japan.  it took me about a week of solid weaving to complete.  i originally sewed it into a jacket for myself, but haven`t been able to figure out which way i like the collar, and as such it`s been a WIP for a while.  one excellent thing about the fabric for a garment is how wonderfully it breathes, which is awesome in our long hot summers.
