silk is excellent for exfoliating, so i wove a little reusable loop-pile scrubber in raw silk for my face. you`re seeing it at finish; i cut it off the loom and folded it in half, then hand sewed around the edges with a whipstitch. after this i decided that loop-pile is not my favorite in practice, because it took forever to weave this little cloth.
