another cotton shawl, finished. i`d like to have a whole bolt of this so i could finally get around to sewing a kimono… i think this would look lovely on. gosh it would make a lovely curtain too. when i was in university my roommate had a trunk full of saris, and we pinned the beautiful textiles strategically to the ceiling of our living room, creating an inner architecture of silk and cotton panels in bright colors and dye patterns. i had four surrounding my bed. versatility is good in a textile.
