i`ve been telling myself that i am done with collecting kimono, that i am over it. we go out of town, visit an old haunt, and there are these beautiful vintage garments, perfectly stitched, carefully pressed, tastefully designed, never worn… something in me connects. it`s like a love affair, really - seeing the photographs i took and the garment seems to be alive, liquid and shimmering. it seems to have a soul. i had to buy just these three pieces, i`ll be putting them in the shop soon.
