i realize that for some people incense, candles and flowers remind you of a funeral, or a butsudan. not i. if i need a little time out i light my candle and stare at the flame. it reminds me of our wood stove in canada. by the way, we have a super cold snap today, and over the weekend it snowed in kyoto! i am canadian so i shouldn`t be so happy to see snow, but this year in kyoto it seems to fall in just the right amounts.
