my cellphone takes pretty terrible photos, i`ve come to realize.  today i relieved months of multiple WIP stress by finishing off a summer sweater, frogging to yarn a toe-up sock, knitting to the elbows my icelandic mohair project, and making some progress on a tweedy seat cushion, pictured above.  i`m guilty of overpiling knitting projects, and having them sit for a year, but the joy you get from clearing a pile all at once is absolutely delicious.  now i just have two sweaters on needles, and the aforementioned seat cushion.  i`ve got the knitting bug, i know i`m going to start a pile of new projects now that i`ve cleaned out the cobwebs.  at least for today, i feel light and free!
